Gateway Childcare Plus formely known as Christ Memorial Children's Learning Center is in its 32 year of providing quality early care and learning school readiness programs for children and their families all over Kitsap County.
The Center is a non-profit child care center which is licensed through the Department of Early Learning which includes the County Health Department and the State and Local Fire Departments.
The Center is located on the campus of Gateway Fellowship formerly know as Christ Memorial Church and Schools. 
The Center Staff facilitates learning opportunities through role modeling desired behaviors, spontaneous exploration, and hands on activities. Lesson plans for these activities are posted in all the rooms.
We also provided a balance of active and quiet activities which are of a rich and diverse range where children can make choices based upon their own development and interests.
Each child is valued as a unique individual and children are seen in the context of their family and culture.
We also believe that each child as the ability to actively and constructively structure their own knowledge and that they learn best through play.
Good health is also promoted at the center with proper nutrition, family style serving at meal times and lots of out-of-door activities and safe hygiene teachings and practices.
A large fenced outdoor playground provides for all the children to enjoy daily outside playtime and large muscle activities.
And because Parents are a child’s first and most important teacher, our goal, is to partner with you in your children's development, and to maintain an open line of communication, and to facilitate a mutually rewarding, working relationship between Center families and the Center.
